Transilience was founded by Beki and her Trans son Oscar, following their own experience as a family, and the struggles associated with trying to find appropriate support and finding that it did not exist. In recognition of the breadth of challenges that trans youth currently face, Beki and Oscar employ a Youth Advisory board to direct our mission and ensure our connection to current issues for those we serve. We support trans youth, as well as the loved ones and professionals that care for them.
