SUPPORT US

Your support really helps us make a difference.

As a charity, not all of our services are fully funded. We also rely on the support of people like you. Private donations in particular enable us to keep our services and support as holistic and accessible as possibe. Every £ matters.

Support our work

There are a number of ways that you can support Intercom Trust with the continued important work we do.

Intercom Trust is a vital lifeline to thousands of LGBT+ people, for their families, and for professionals who work with them.

We rely on the support of people like you to help us continue to make a difference. As a charity, no donation is too small and every penny you give us adds to the support we able to offer.

If you would like to set up an event or sponsored activity, please do get in touch to talk through your ideas.

Why not have some fun and raise some money for your local LGBT+ communities at the same time?

Gifts left to charities in Wills – usually known as legacies – don’t need to be large. Even a small gift in your will can make a big difference.

If you already have a Will, changing it to include a gift to Intercom Trust is very straightforward. The link below will take you to our Gifts in Wills Guide and show you how to start the process.

There is always more we can achieve.

More substantial and recurrent funding enables us to develop and deliver new services and projects into the medium and longer terms.

We are work in close partnership with funders to ensure we provide high quality and specialist services that truly meet the needs of our LGBT+ communities throughout the region.

If you would like to explore this with us in more detail, please get in touch.

Our trustees provide strategic oversight and support our ongoing work as volunteers.  If you have the passion for LGBT+ equality and a strategic mindset, please think about applying to become an Intercom trustee.

Our Board of Trustees commit to a three year tenure and meet bi-monthly with the management team.  Trustees are supported to understand our services, meet the staff, and participate in occasional events. We encourage applicants from a whole range of backgrounds and specialisms.

Volunteer time can make a huge difference. In particular we always like to find regular volunteers to support our Gender Identity Family Days and YAY Youth Groups. We also often need support for one-off days, such as Prides and community events.

We are also always on the lookout for volunteer counsellors (both qualified and students) who we support to provide our LGBT+ affirming low/no cost counselling service.

If you are interested in volunteering for us, please fill out the application form here and we will get back to you.
